The CMSE GSO Mission Statement

The GSO serves as the democratically elected graduate student voice within the department and serves the graduate student community through events and advocacy.

• Organize social activities and outings to strengthen the graduate student community
• Promote professional development opportunities for CMSE students
• Promote CMSE events and resources
• Participate in departmental recruitment activities
• Make formal requests to the CMSE department on behalf of the graduate cohort
• Represent the graduate student perspective on departmental committees
